Craig Rose, Owner

Craig has been making things for more than 35 years. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988, he joined his father in founding Pet-Tech Products, which they ran from 1991 to 2008. It made products for the pet industry using injection-molded plastic and foam, hand-cast resins and silicone molds. Along the way he also ran a data center for 16 years, then spent 15 years as GM of Operations for an aerospace manufacturer. In 2021 he bought Robo-Jet’s waterjet operation, and in 2023 he added Intermountain 3D’s printing and scanning equipment, building both into Treasure Valley 3D. Off the clock, he collects movies and audiobooks and spends as much time as he can with his granddaughter.

He’s also working toward his associate degree through evening classes. Outside the shop, he enjoys board games, tabletop role-playing games, cosplay, and reading.

Mission

To contribute to advancing 3D printing and its potential to transform the manufacturing industry. We strongly believe that a robust manufacturing industry not only creates jobs, it is an integral part of the invention process itself. Commercial 3D printing has the potential to revolutionize the way manufacturing is done, and bring new capabilities to the smallest and largest entrepreneurs.
